Final Meeting + Announcements

Hello everyone,

Announcing our final meeting of the winter quarter Wednesday 3/10/2010 at 4:45pm-6:00pm in room 815. During this meeting we will be wrapping up the quarter and talking about plans for the spring quarter.

We hope to see you there

Furniture Show Announcement-

Its that time again! The furniture is the 27-28th of this month with the opening party on the 26th (for those who would like to pay to go). We will also need to arrange students to sit in our booth. We should have a good spread of work to choose from. Please pass the word along to students that it is approaching. They have not given me our official set-up time yet and we will pass that along to you all as soon as I have it ‘in- hand’. As discussed at the 12th week meeting, this one is being done differently than in previous years since we didn’t have a class in rotation available to officially attach it to. As such we are counting on a more diverse range of projects subject wise but that is always exciting. There will be a faculty Jury, see Don. and Collab lamps, Chairs from Georges class, rain barrels, clocks from Fabrication etc will all be considered.

IDSA Merit Award Announcement-

PhilaU would like to host the IDSA Merit Awards judging this year on March 30, 7-10, at the Kanbar Student Center.

This is the probable date for the IDSA merit awards. Faculty will need to select three students from those wanting to participate. Interested students should contact Wendy to schedule a faculty review of their presentation.

This is for students that are members of Ai iDSA and are graduating in 2010.
